Our mouths

It's kind of peculiar that I'm coming out with this message that's been on my mind for a few days now, Because it was our Sunday school lesson this morning. I know so many people that will praise God one minute and curse out of that same mouth the very next minute. The third chapter of James talks about such people. I wish each of the people that I have on my mind would read it. But sadly, I doubt that they even pick up their Bible to read them, if indeed they even own a Bible. One asks for prayer often and talks about how God has been so good to them, while talking about getting drunk the rest of the time. One of the people I know will tell me, God bless you. and the most awful language comes out of their mouths most other times. And the part I can't understand is, Some of these people claim to be Christians. Now I'll not lie, I have let some choice words come out of my mouth, especially when I'm mad. I am so very sorry when it happens. I repent for it, because I know it's wrong. So it's not a lifestyle thing at all with me. But some people do have a lifestyle of using fowl language and yet claim to love Christ.

I don't have all the answers. But I do know that God will judge every idle word that we utter.

Jesus , the only way

I was listening to the radio this morning. And what I heard nearly broke my heart. It seems that a certain denomination of churches, which I won't name, have embraced same sex marriage. But that wasn't the worse, according to what I heard on the radio, they are now saying there is more than one way to Heaven, and that you don't have to be a born again Christian to go to Heaven. As they say the devil's in the details. It seems that the devil is getting stronger and stronger in our churches. For a Christian church to state that people don't need Christ to go to Heaven, is just outrageous. and so untrue. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In fact Jesus stated very firmly that if one should try any other way, he is like a thief in the night.

John 10:9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

And it's a liar that would tell you that Jesus is not the only way, and they are a thief all so because they are stealing the truth. and trying to make a liar of of Christ Himself.

So please listen to this advice, Any person or denomination of a church or any other organization, that tells you same sex marriage is OK, or tells you Christ is not the only way to Heaven. Turn away from them, find you a place where the truth is told. in another church another organization, that teach the truth. Don't let them destroy your soul with their lies.
