Yesterday which was Monday July the 5Th, was not a normal day. Willard and I were very bless yesterday in two ways. First we received a phone call from Weldon and Kay.

They had some more potatoes and asked Willard if he wanted to come dig some. Willard went last week and dug enough for two canning's and some left over for me to fix string beans and potatoes. Which was yummy. Yesterday we had enough for two more canning's and some left over which I plan to make a potato salad this afternoon with. I hope they both know just how much I appreciate all that they have gone for Willard and me. It has really meant a lot to us. God has a very special blessing in store for these two. Because they are so special. You can see the love of the Lord in both of them.

And secondly I had the special honor of meeting one of my face book friends yesterday afternoon. Susan and I have been friends on face book for some time now. She, nor I neither one knew that we had a connection. That connection would be David. Susan's Daughter Courtney, and David's girl friend Amy, were friends, and David met Susan and her family though Amy. David had grown to love Susan and her whole family, and was spending a lot of time over there. It wasn't until I commented on one of David's post that she asked David who I was. I really enjoyed the visit.
And thirdly, I have put a call into my doctor in Chapel Hill. I am waiting for them to call me back. I'm not going to worry, because I've already spoken to the Great Healer in Heaven. I talked to Him first. It's going to be alright, He said have faith, for there's nothing that He can't do.
Until next time God bless.

Faith enough

Ok, so I found out last week that I have a tumor in , or on my uterus. A fibroid tumor. The hospital said to call my doctor in Chapel Hill. I called, and received a call back Thursday. I was told that fibroid tumors were normally benign and that unless I had other symptoms, such as bleeding or pain, I was to just wait until my regular appointment, which is in April of next year. I just have passed my five year mark, and am scheduled once a year. Well last night, I got up around three o'clock to find that I was bleeding.

So I guess a lot of people would start thinking the worse. But I'm not because, I realize something. God is in control! There can't anything touch me unless God permits it. And even if He does permit, it will be His will. And who am I to try to fight against God's will? People say they have faith, that is until a trail comes along. Then many will lose that faith to worry, fearfulness and other things. Old satan just starts throwing his darts, until some may even say if God were a loving God, He would do this or He would not do that. Jesus never promised us there would be no pain, no sorrows, no death. In fact He emphasized, there would be. So whatever happens to me is ok. Because it will be God's will. And I praise God. For what He has done in my life. For what He is doing in my life. And for what He will do in my life. Yes Praise God.

Until next time God bless.

Stepping on toes

I heard a preacher's wife say this morning, that one Sunday, as she was sitting near a new convert, and that she noticed, the blouse the woman wore, was cut very low and worldly in the front. She said, she hoped as the woman grew in her spiritual life that she would dress more appropriately. As she said '''''a Christian woman should''''''.
That made me think of a few women that have been going to church many, many years. That still have their boobs hanging out all over the place. Willard, even said something one Sunday about it, He said he had to turn his head away from one such person as, while she was bending down speaking to another church member, he was unlucky enough to be able to see much more than he would have wanted to.
I believe with all my heart that Christian women are not supposed to dress '' sexual ''. That, as I have stated in a former blog, women are suppose to dress in such a manner, ''not'' to draw attention to themselves. To my opinion, women who dress in this worldly way, as specified by the preacher's wife, are sinful. And need to rethink the walk they have with the Lord.
Willard said something about women wearing blouses way too low, wanting men to notice them, but when they are aware of men looking at their breast, they act all embarrassed and all. Ladies you're not fooling anyone. If you dress in a sexual nature, You're acking for men to look, and that's sinful.
OK so I've stepped on a few toes in this blog. But if it makes just one person think about themself and how what they wear looks to others. Then it's worth a few bruised toes. As Preacher Harris use to say, It's better to go into Heaven with a few bruised toes, than to hell with your toes alright.
We have to be in this world, But we aren't supposed to be a part of it and it's sins.
Until next time God bless.

Chained to sin

Have you really ever given any thought to the fact that before you were saved, you were a slave of sin? You see, God can't look upon sin, so He could not except us as we were. Ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the garden of Eden, mankind has been born into sin and is by all my understanding, a slave to it. Sometimes we fight against it, but the sinful nature of mankind is much too powerful to win the fight alone. God knew that we as slaves would need someone to purchase us from the slave market of sin. It couldn't be God, nor could it be a man because as stated before all mankind was born into slavery. So God sent Jesus to a virgin's womb, to be born as a man. Both God and man, yes that would work. He could buy us back from the slave market. He could pay the price for all that wanted to follow Him.

And He did pay the price. The only remission for sin is the blood from a spotless sacrificed. Jesus was that sacrifice, spotless and Holy. He was the only way, for God would except none other.

Now we have Jesus to fight for us. He rose from the dead, so we would have victory over the grave. Then He went back to sit by His Heavenly father. He showed His Heavenly father the book with all the people's names that He has redeemed. And that blood that spilt is still working even today. Yes He's still redeeming and adding names to the book every day. And whenever there is any accusation against us! He's defending all by saying "covered by the blood" What a great Savior we have. Is your name in that book?

Until next time God bless. Remember any blessing that is truly a blessing comes from God.

Vile people

There are some really vile and mean people in this world. You know I've mentioned Janice, my sister in law, to you. To remind you, she has cancer and travels from VA to NC for her chemo treatments. She also has a blog that she writes to let us all know how things are going with her, and the things that she, as a cancer victim goes through. She really brings a lot of insight to those that have never had any close experience with the trials cancer victims go through on a daily basic.

I remember when I was getting daily radiation treatments in Chapel Hill, I too was keeping a diary of the things I faced daily. I was a little more personal with mine. I really got into the troubles, both physically and emotional, that I was going through. The friendships made and the people I would meet, etc. It really made for some good reading. Sadly my daily got lost, or stolen along with my hair brush and a few other things while I was in Chapel Hill. You see I stayed in the hotel in the back of the hospital. It was a semiprivate room. Even some of my meds were stolen one time. But that's another story.

To get back to Janice. I was reading her blog and have been noticing a Chinese person would comment on every one of Janice's post. And me being somewhat curious decided I'd go to a translation site, and see what this person was writing. Once I did, I was so angry. This person put half formed sentences with junk about sex and porn all over my lovely sister in law's blog. Has this world always been this vile, or is it just this generation? I really don't know but I do understand why a Righteous God would want to turn His face from all of us. And still the evilness is steadly eating away at the goodness that is left in this world.

Until next time God bless.

True love

There's something special about a man that will put his arms around his wife, just for the sake of holding her and feeling that connection that they have with one another. No other thing intended, but holding in his arms the most important person in his life. Most women yearn for those times.

Women want to know that they're loved, that they're adored my the man in their life. Women want men to swoon over them , with an overwhelming love. Women want to matter to a man. More than his football game, or his car race. Women want to be his pride and joy.
So what do men want? I can only tell about mine. He wants the same things I do. He wants to know that he's the most important person in my life, ""Which he is"". He wants to be adored and loved with that same overwhelming love. And he wants to feel my arms around him, just for the sake of feeling that connection and that bond we have between us.
When two people are truly in love, they perfect one another.
Eph 5:31
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his WIFE, and they two shall be one flesh.
Until next time God bless, and I pray you already have or will have that someone special in your life.

God giveth, and stupidity takes away.

All the Money and hard work that Willard and I put into canning these plum and peach preserves, and we were stupid enough to put them on a high, untested shelve. While Willard and I were sitting down eating the Father's day dinner. What sounded like the most awfullest rumbling sound, and then the avalanche of jar after jar falling from the cabinet and hitting the floor. I set there and just hung my head. I didn't know whether to be upset because of the lost, or thankful that no one had gotten hurt. And at the end, I'm thankful no one was hurt. although anyone would have expected most of the preserve jars broken falling from that height, very few in fact were broken. God has His hands on all things. even jars of fruit.
I'm remembering that song, It is no secret what God can do.
Until next time God bless,
