Many years ago when I was working. I was waiting on a customer, and she asked me if I watched a certain show on TV the night before. I told her no, I did not. I said something to the effect that I didn't watch that show. She started telling how awful it was. Saying something about a man pulled off his pants and all the other things she saw. Since she continued in telling everyone in the business, how awful and vulgar the show was. I asked her this question, (did you continue to set and watch it)? Her face turned just a touch red as she had to admit, she did. Even though she thought the show not fit to be on TV, she still sat and watched. I would have taken her outrage to the show, more sincere, if she had said, she didn't watch it. But she watched. We can complain about the shows on our TV sets all we want to. But until we either turn the TV off or turn the channel when these vulgar shows come on, then we have nothing to say. My opinion is if enough people stop watching these shows and complain to the networks. The sponsor's will leave them high and dry. after all the sponsors are the ones who furnish the financing for the shows. So at the end of the day, it's your and my choice what comes on our TV's. Willard use to watch that show, two and a half men. I would always find something else to do while he watched. I though the show was vulgar, and I just didn't like it at all. But I really never said anything to Willard about it. One day Willard told me that the Lord had convicted him from watching it. He said the Lord showed him how vulgar the show was. Willard has never watched it again.
I'll tell you something, the devil will use anything he can to get to you or you family members. TV is just another way old satan can come into your house. And when you turn on that TV and watch trash, then you are, ''to my opinion'' inviting satan in.
Turn the thing off and spend some time with the family, is what I say.
Until next tine God bless, and think about it, you have the right to control who or what comes into your home.
