I was watching a movie on TV this morning. It was an older movie, I would say at lease thirty years old. It was showing a couple on a beach. The young woman said to the young man, that she had his birthday present. She explained that she was going to buy him a sweater for his birthday but that she could not afford it. She indicated that instead of the sweater that she had begun taking birth control pills and that she was his birthday present. So while looking for a place that was secluded, once found, she asked him ( are you sure no one can see us). I don't know why, but I said aloud, yes, God can see you. And then it occurred to me that it was just a movie and the actors could not hear me. But that knowledge that God sees all just kicked in and before I even thought, I had opened my mouth. But as I thought about it, I say to myself, ( Joan that would make a good lesson on your blog,) so here we are. We often don't think when we do things that God is always an observer. It's like the ultimate reality show. God's eyes being the camera, and the camera follows you around everywhere you go. And the playback of this will not be on TV, but will be played back to you on the day of judgement. Everything that you ever did right or wrong will be played back for your viewing. It won't be entertaining, as you watch yourself on that final judgement day. And you know the only excuse you will ever have, will be pleading the Blood of Jesus. Jesus will be the great editor that will cut out all the parts that condemn you and me.
Oh, thank God for Jesus.
until next time God bless
