Living as a servant

There are a lot of people that think, people in the Bible were righteous people. Such as, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Noah, I could go on and on. But with every one of these people had weaknesses, and sinful natures, just as we today have. Human characteristics haven't changed all that much, even from Adam and Eve. We all do what we know not to do, and we all decline to do what we know we are supposed to do. It's just human nature. I often wonder just why God created us that way. It has to do with free will, but I often wish that God would take some of my free will away and say No, Joan you can't do that, or say Joan you must do that. But I know why. Because if God did not give us free will, we would be as slaves, doing God's bidding with not so much as a hope of living as we want to. But you know what really impresses me? When we except Christ into our lives, and as we read of Him in the Bible. We want to serve Him, We want to follow Him. Mainly because His love has so penetrated our heart and souls that we want to be in His presents always. I wish with all my heart that every sinner out there that doesn't know Christ, could feel that love. That ever flowing love, the mercy that we don't deserve and the grace that opens the very doors of Heaven for us. How wonderful our Lord God is. Yes I not only want to serve Him, My whole desire is to serve Him. I pray this day that if you have not asked Christ Jesus into your heart, into your life, that you will make that decision today. Following Christ Jesus is the best decision I ever made. It will be for you too.

God Bless
