Strength through God

Well! it seams like for the past few days, when I wanted to write something, I have been in a fowl mood. I guess it's because I'm sick, and when you're sick you kinda lose the will to fight against the devil. And you know that's the way with him, He's such an evil spirit that he hits us at some of our lowest points. When we're sick, when there are family problems, or money problems. And especially when there has been things that happen to us that just about breaks our hearts. When we are at our weakest, old satan moves in and tries his best to defeat Jesus Christ through us. And that's the point, in satan's mind every time he causes us to lose faith, or question God or to sin. he thinks that he has won one on Jesus. Satan hates our Lord Jesus Christ, and uses us as his tools to defeat Him. We must learn everyday to put on the armor of God no matter how bad we feel. And to be honest, for the last few day I have forgotten to. But as I 'now' gather my strength as I read once more the Warrior's prayer, I can once more fight against the evil one.

The warrior’s prayer
Based on Ephesians chapter 6:11-17

Heavenly Father
Your warrior prepares for battle. Today I claim victory over satan
By putting on the whole armor of God.
I put on the Girdle of truth. May I stand firm in the truth of Your word,
So I will not be a victim of satan’s lies.
I put on the breast plate of righteousness. May I guard my heart from evil.
So I will remain pure and holy. Protected under the Blood of Jesus Christ.
I put on the shoes of peace. May I stand firm in the goodness of the gospel.
So your light will shine through me. And will be a light to all I encounter.
I take the shield of faith. May I be ready for satan’s.
Fiery darts of doubt denial and deceit. So I will not be vulnerable to spiritual defeat.
I put on the helmet of salvation. May I keep
My mind focused on You. So satan will not have a stronghold on my thoughts.
I take the sword of the Spirit. May the two edge sword of Your
Word be ready in my hands. So I can expose the temping words of satan.
By faith Your warrior has put on the armor of God.
I am prepared to live this Day in spiritual victory.
