Good friends

Well, I really blew any thing even close to being on a diet today. I'll save you the grizzly details, let's just say it had something to do with fried chicken. lol

Willard and I went to the nursing home again today. Mr Maynord was there. We asked him what was wrong with him. He said that there was something wrong with his hip, and that although he saw a doctor, that he was unable as yet to get an x-ray. He said that his hip was bothering him an awful lot. As we did the Bible study, anyone could tell just by looking at him, that he was in considerable pain. I ask each of you to please say a prayer for him. I sure hope that the problem will be fount soon, and something can be done to help him.

Frances sat in today. Frances is a good friend to Willard and I. You know the kind of friend that you can tell just about anything to, and you know for a fact that, that's as far as it will go, just between the two of you? That's what kind of friend she is. Plus she will do anything in her power to help you if she can. Her husband Roy, is an absolute doll. He was forced to retired from his job, of many years, a couple of years ago. while in his late seventies. He didn't stay home though. He went to work at our near by IGA as a bagger. Every time he sees me, a big smile comes on his face, knowing that I'm going to hug him. It's a little game we play. Willard always smiles and says something like "are you trying to get fresh with my wife"" or ""watch yourself, I might get jealous"".It just tickles Roy so much. You know, it's nice to have friends like Roy and Frances. Someone that you feel comfortable around, people that aren't trying to put you under a magnifying glass. Who except you just the way you are. They know that they have nothing to prove, and Willard and I feel the same way. Just good honest Christian folk.

Well I'll hush now. lol

until next time, God bless you enough, that you realize, all blessing come from His never ending love for you, And there's no better friend than Jesus.
