The Lord provides

There has been many times that I wondered how in the world was I, or a member of my family, going to be able to succeed in doing some thing that almost looked impossible, at the time. I remember sitting at the lunch table many years ago and pondering just how I was going to be able to go to Church that Wednesday night. I had just enough gas to make it to work and back, and I knew that if I went to Church that night I would run out of gas before payday. I set there and asked God what to do, almost apologizing to God for missing Church that night. But still leaving it in His hands. No sooner than I had finished my prayer, I looked out the window at the people walking up and down the side walk. My eye lowered at a green paper that the breeze was blowing. No one walking on the sidewalk noticed the ten dollar bill as the breeze blew it up against the building of which I was in. God had answered my prayer, just that fast. I went outside and retrieved the bill, and of course I made it to church that night with more than enough gas. God doesn't always give us what we want, but he will supply us with our needs. David has to go to Raleigh tomorrow to take his exams for CNA. With him having no job, Willard and I would have to come up with the money out of our already limited budget. we had already talked about how hard it would be, since Willard only received seventy five dollars this week of unemployment. The people at the office where he worked made a mistake, and we were told there would be no recouping the money that was lost. So we had decided that we would give David twenty dollars out of that seventy five to go to Raleigh with. Willard stopped at a gas station to put gas in the van, looked down and saw a twenty dollar bill. the very amount we decided to give to David. God once more provided what was needed.
I praise the Lord for His tender loving mercies and His grace, and thank Him for His blessings.
Until next time God Bless and, I hope you too will know that the Lord does provide for us when we are in need.
