Lonely in his grief

Willard and I went to the nursing home yesterday. We sang three songs along with the residents. Victory in Jesus, More about Jesus and Love lifted me. David stayed in his room, so Willard went down to visit with him, and to give him our condolences. Willard said that David was just sitting in his room, all alone. What can you say to a person that has loss the one person that is the center of their life. There is really not much you can say, except how sorry you are, and of course offer them your ear to listen, when and if they decide that they want to talk about it, which David didn't. I think that he just mostly wanted to be left alone. And you know that's how some people grieve. The best thing we can do for David right now is pray for him. That God will bring him some comfort as he sits in his room and tries to regain some kind of prospective. The next few days are going to be very hard for him, as any one that has loss a loved one knows. So if you will just keep him in your prayers.

until next time God bless, and remember, God hears every sigh, and He knows every hurt we have, so keep praying.
